It was midnight and everything was so quiet except for the chirping of crickets and hoots of owls. It was a dark night.

The three friends made their was towards a hill. They had moved out of the house for college and were staying together.

"Megha....I think this is a bad idea." Nithya said looking around, her eyes holding a hint of fear.

"I know right it's soo creepy. Can we just go now and come here at day time? And Nithya can you just stop taking videos?" Veena yelled getting frustrated.

"Ohh please......what is my poor camera even doing to you? Just imagine if something amazing happens and we regret not recording it. Trust me you'll thank me in future." Nithya said as she started focusing back on her camera.

"Guys can you just be quiet. What if you guys wake up some dangerous specie and we might end up becoming their meal." Megha said getting irritated by their constant talks.

"Meghaaaaa......" Both of them yelled at her making her laugh.

"I was joking guys." She said wrapping her hands around them.

Though they both were blindly following Megha without any fear deep inside both of them were freaking scared.

Nithya was chanting Hanuman Chalisa in her head for the first time and thanked her school for teaching it.

"Megha can we just go back?" Veena asked as she was getting tensed.

They had not informed anyone about their little outing. So she was getting worried.

"We'll go to the top and click some pictures and go back. We almost reached." Megha said as calmly as she can.

"Guys....I am going to upload this on my YouTube channel. It's going to get.....ahhhhhhhhh." Nithya suddenly yelled scaring both Megha and Veena.

They both turned to look at what happened and instead of getting worried they both bursted laughing.

"Ohhh....my.....goddddd." Megha held her stomach as she laughed her life out.

It was just a leaf. A leaf had fallen on her and she freaked out almost dropping her camera. Thank god she was wearing it around her neck.

"I am really going to thank you later." Veena said laughing.

"Guys just stop it. Anyone would have got scared." She said and walked forward.

They both ran behind her throwing their hands on her shoulder and the three of them started laughing.

They continued walking as they were about to reach, they felt like someone was following them. They were about to turn but a hand went to their mouth closing it and another hand went to their hands locking them.

All the three friends were in the same position a hand wrapped around their mouth and another around their wrists.

While Veena and Nithya were struggling to get themselves free, Megha stepped hard on the persons feet and pushed her elbow back hitting the person on his stomach.

The person immediately left her cursing.

"Fuck Meghaaa...." He said rubbing the area where she hit.

The girls were now free as the other two guys had left them.

The three of them turned to look who it was and were shocked.

"Idiots." Megha muttered.

" seriously guys?" Veena asked with an irritated look.

"You guys scared us. What were you even thinking?" Nithya asked.

While Dhruv and Vineet stood there grinning Yuvraj was pissed.

"From when did start attacking people like that?" Yuvraj asked Megha still holding his stomach.

"From when did you start behaving like a kidnapper?" Megha retorted.

"We are just messing with you guys." He said.

"If I had know it was you I would have hit you harder." She said and started walking and the others followed.

"Why didn't you guys call us?" Vineet asked wrapping his hand around Nithya's waist.

Yes! They both had started dating. Long story short they both were in love with each other from 8th grade and Vineet confessed when they were in 11th grade and both of them are dating from that time.

"Because it was supposed to be a girls outing which you guys spoilt." Veena said getting irritated by her brother.

"Aww looks like my Lil sis missed me." Vineet said looking at her and giving her a puppy face.

"You wish and you are just 1 minute, I repeat just 1 minute older than me so don't call me lil sis next time." Veena said getting frustrated.

All the other people knew that this argument of who's older would go on forever so instead of letting them continue Yuvraj interrupted them.

"Guys we have to go to College tomorrow and it's our first day so can we just hurry." Yuvraj said and both of them nodded and started walking.

MORNING

It was morning and it was time for them to go for college. All of them left together and stood in front of the gates.

"Finally we are in college. I just hope everything goes well." Nithya told keeping a hand on her heart.

"It's going to go well. Don't worry." Veena assured her with a smile and Vineet held Nithya's hand and gave her an assuring smile.

They all entered the college and went to their classes.

So far everything was good. It was lunch break and everyone were going towards the canteen. As they were going another group was walking past them and a guy dashed Megha sonipat mating her fall and he didn't even bother to apologize or look at her.

Megha not being her old self got frustrated and called him.

"Excuse me." She called turning back and the whole group stopped and turned to face Megha.

"What?" He said with arrogance.

"You dashed me almost making me fall and you didn't even have the courtesy to tell sorry." She said walking towards him.

"You didn't fall right. That's the end of the discussion." He said and was about to leave when megha held his wrist.

"It's not the end mister. You have zero manners and you don't even know how to speak to a girl. Apologize first and then leave." She said folding her hands.

"Me and apologizing?" He chuckled and all his friends followed him.

"I dint find anything funny so please do it fast so that we don't waste our time." Megha said getting more irritated.

"Megha let's just go don't make a scene." Veena whispered but Megha just ignored.

"Abhay just say it. Dont make a scene." A girl standing next to him told.

He stepped forward closing the distance between them. As he was taking another step he felt a slight push on his shoulder.

"Maintain some distance. You need not come that close for apologizing." Yuvraj said.

That guy smirked and shifted his focus back to Megha.

"Someone to fight for you, I see." He said taking a step back.

"I can fight for myself. Now if you can finish apologizing we can part ways." She said as she was loosing her patience.

"I am sorry." He said and was about to tell something but she turned and walked away and the rest of them followed her.

When they went a little far she turned to face Yuvraj.

"Why do you need to interfere in everything? Can't you keep your mouth shut?" She asked getting frustrated.

"What did I do? I just said him not to come that close. I would have done that if anyone was in your position." He said getting mad at her behaviour.

"I don't care what you do with others but don't you dare interfere in my life. Remember that." She said and walked away.

All the others stood there looking at whatever was going on.

Dhruv put his hand on Yuvraj's shoulder and smiled sadly. He patted on his back and they continued walking.

The first day itself had so much drama and god knows what's going to happen in the next three years.

All of them just wished for these three years to go without any problems.
